Racism after 13th GE

Posted by LEG on May 7, 2013 in Uncategorized

You can see hatred arise towards the Chinese after Malaysian Prime Minister, Dato Seri Najib expressed his dissatisfaction over chinese voters in malaysia in which he said ‘popularity of BN is diminishing amongst Malaysian especially the chinese’, something like that. And another minister said ‘the chinese are ungrateful after all BN has done for them’. Why put sooo much emphasis on the race?

And then messages rampantly spread through facebook telling the chinese to be careful because attacks are on them anytime anywhere. Looks like the chinese need to look at safetygirl.com for pepper spray or better yet bring a swiss knife in your bag.

Najib asked everyone to accept the results of the election with an open heart but he cant accept with an open heart that many are not on his side anymore. Are we supposed to ‘accept with an open heart’ of the outcome of the 13th GE? This is the most disgusting election ever on the face of the earth. It’s like, first you are holding the trophy then after a sudden blackout, the trophy is in your opponent’s hands. You can even feel the opponent grabbed the trophy from your hands and claimed that he has won. How pathetic that is? Extremely pathetic!

Sleeping under the stars

Posted by LEG on Apr 16, 2013 in Uncategorized

Last saturday was a weekend to remember. My cousins and I gathered for a weekend away in our aunt’s house in kg. tamalang silou, inanam. We set up two tents, and when we looked up the sky, it was just majestic to see all the bright stars. My cousin and I stayed in one camp and we did a proper selection of foam camping pads to make sure we sleep like a baby. Well, she did, I emmm…not so baby that night. I keep awakened by the cries of the real babies inside the house i.e. my nephew. But it was truly a great weekend. Looking forward for the next one, perhaps somewhere in Penampang.

Mind is set to this upcoming challenge that i’m in. Our very own Sadiwa family 4WD Sabah challenge! Lol! Last saturday, our family gathered for a bbq party and camping night, it was a night of feasting and stories. We opened two tents on the front porch and slept under the starry starry night. Yeehaa! Then a very big idea came in - driving off track around Sabah for 1 week. Yeah! I see that my cousin’s car is fit with thule racks already, that is a bonus. Time to fit my brother’s car with one too. So this idea is set in next year after lent. 2014 is a year of travel yeahh!

Air Asia Big Sale

Posted by LEG on Apr 16, 2013 in Uncategorized

I almost missed it! Thank God I remember it on the final night of the big promotion. Hong Kong here i come! But only in January next year haha! I gotta find marmot winter jackets for me, it’s going to be cold nights to remember. Been planning to go back there since years ago. But life circumstances are not permitting. So this year life is hmmm…not to say so stable, but it is time to break off the old shell and move on with new perspective. My first perspective is travel lol! Thank you to Air Asia that now everyone can fly here and there anytime we want. That’s a true convenience. Thanks to Dato Tony Fernandez, hey man i’m part of your dreams!

MGK9 in The Rainforest Music Festival

Posted by LEG on Apr 4, 2013 in Uncategorized

The Rainforest Music Festival is held every year in early July for 3 days of music, workshops, trainings, and concert. It is held in the beautiful Sarawak Cultural Village located in Santubong. I think Santubong Beach Resort is perfect for beach lover and nature lover because it has the nicest and clean beach and when you go further inside, you’ll be greeted with the majestic Mount Santubong and with green tall trees.

My friends and I volunteered as MGK9 guard in the festival in 2008 and 2009. Amazing experience indeed. We get to work alongside beautiful smart MGK9 dogs. Every morning, our Boss, Leo from Miri will head the dogs training near the beach. They were trained inside the parameter of wireless fencing for dogs and only their trainers are allowed inside this parameter. To see them train is a heart pumping because they really bite the trainer (of course equipped with full protection). To be working with MGK9 Miri was an amazing experience.

We also get to watch the rainforest concert in close view, i mean at the very front of the stage.
It’s Hiroshi!
