How Sweet Is Too Sweet?

Posted by Man-D on Nov 10, 2009 in Cheesecake, My Interest, My Life, UnPretentiousMe |

I made (not bake) a Lemon Cheesecake yesterday for a friend (my 7th order… hopefully there is more to come). I hope it is not too sweet Bet and please prepare your comments k (will ask you later). Normally, I will just use half of the sugar in the original recipe because from my experiences, 200g of sugar is too sweet especially for the eIderly… he he he!

But for the Lemon Cheesecake recipe, I would prefer using a cup (equals to 200g) of Caster sugar as the lemon juice can balance the sweetness of the cake. Furthermore, it can makes the cake lighter (seeming!) and lemony. Still, it’s too rich to eat more than a few bites. Wow, looks like someone is going to need a fat burner product soon! yaiii…

Well, it is very hard to tell HOW SWEET IS TOO SWEET! When I actually thought the cheesecake I made is a bit too sweet, my friends who has a massive sweet tooth thought it wasn’t sweet enough! I guess you’ll have to eat it and decide for yourself.

P/S Photos will be posted later…
