Did you ever try some manufactured food product, loved it, and then one day the company just stopped producing it, and you were never able to find a substitute? This is what happened to my favourite Planters Cheez Balls!
Been looking and searching for this specific cheese balls for years and couldn’t find them anywhere. The last time i ate it was about 4 years ago when a friend bought it from Brunei. So, I google up and found out that the product has been discontinued. NOOooo… I am three years late….Some of the ‘balls’ lovers had called the Planters call center to buy the product directly from them but to no avail.

Guess what? I saw the Planters Cheez Balls when I went to Manila last May-June and I was so happy. Can you believe that? Of all places, Robinson’s Tagaytay!!! Oh my! Anyway, we (my sis and I) bought two cans of the balls. Sis, who could barely wait to try them, busted it open (of coz after paying themlah) and… Dang! These are NOT the ones you remember, NOT the same orange cheese we’ve grown to love. These are entirely different. The taste are a bit lighter and not as cheesy flavored as the traditional ones. The magic is gone… 
We ended up eating only quarter of it and gave the rest to our friends. You might wonder what happened to the other can right? he he he… Mana sudah tu sis? Sa pun nda ingat sudah… lol
hehe sa pun nda ingat mana suda tu..nda sadap tu planters tagaytay..rugi ja mkn kin tambah kolesterol hehe..lurrvee original planters cheeze bols!
