Retail Experience…
I remember the first time I heard about this POS systems (Point of Sale) or RMS (Retail Managment System) thingy. It was 6 years ago. Yup, my first job (after graduating) with the retail company and been a very loyal worker for almost 5 years and 10 months! But for some reason, I have to say 
to the company… 
With years of experience, I’m sure I can open my own business by now… ha ha ha! But, seriously. If you want to do business especially when dealing with stocks, you should stop using cash registers and stepped up to a POS system instead.
Why do I say so? here are some of the reasons why…
- record sales immediately for accurate sales tracking
- to identify inventory levels; helping to keep stocks in proper balance
- it helps a lot when doing price reduction (marked down item or discounts)
- tracked promotions successfully esp when dealling with coupons or special discounts, plus you get to know how successful the promotion was
Oh, don’t forget to do annual stock take for your stocks (to check for the losses… he he he)
