Unpretentious Me

I bought a few of Japanese, Taiwan & Korean drama series DVDs while in Manila last month. But, only last week that I managed to watch 1 out of the 7 DVDs. Hana Yori Dango is taken from the manga and anime with the same tittle and this Japanese series is famous back then in 2005. However, I like the Taiwan version more since I love Jerry Yan character when he played Dao Ming Si – the obnoxious leader of F4 in Meteor Garden. Nevertheless, Matsumoto Jun has done a good job playing his role as Domyouji Tsukasa in HYD

If you have seen Meteor Garden before and you like it, I suggest you to watch HYD coz it is definitely worth watching. Even my GF Redge  still can’t get over this series. So Redge, are you into Tsukasa or Rui? hehehe…Oh, the not so good part about this series is, it is too short (only for 9 episodes). Luckily the DVD I bought was a complete season, so meaning to say that I have actually 20 episodes afterall. BTW, I just finished with season 1 and I can’t wait to continue watching the season 2 (11 episodes)

I’m so happy that Manchester United retained the tittle as they won the 2-0 at Wigan Atheletic with a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty and a goal by Ryan Giggs. United ended the season on 87 points, two points clear of second-placed Chelsea, who drew 1-1 with Bolton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge.

Don’t be sad Chelsea’s fans as we, the Red Devils will see you on May 21 for the Champions League Final.

Fans of the English Team as well as will sure have their own view or opinion on who will win the 2007/08 Champions League Cup. I wont be making a bias comment here though MU is my fav team and for sure I’m hoping that MU will win the cup…

With Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool were in the semi finals, there’s a decent chance two of the English sides could meet in the May 23 final in Athens. The three English teams repeated last season’s success.

In the mean time, to all Manchester United and Barcelona fans, stay awake for the match at 2.30a.m tommorow (Malaysia time) . A match too big to be missed!

So who will you guys pick for proceed to Moscow?  

P/S Man United will be double winners this season? Is it too early for me to say this? Maybe I should say it after the game this morning rite?

Last Sunday match between Manchester United (my fav team) and The Blue (Chelsea)was a bit dissapointed despite the fact that it has become the most anticipated fixture in the Premiere League in recent seasons. As expected by many, Sunday’s game just wasn’t the same without manager Jose Mourinho (my 2nd fav manager after Sir Alex Ferguson) who decided to leave the club (or rather pushed out) from Stamford Bridge last week.

His resignation left a big impact on the team, who lost 2-0 to their old time rival, The Red Devil at Old Trafford. At least the Manchester United fans is more than happy when Carlos Tevez score the first goal in the injury time in the first half. The 10 man Chelsea (after Mikel was red carded in the first half) couldn’t fight back in the second half and the final score was set by Louis Saha after an easy awarded penalty kick.

Maurinho has been one of the most successful managers in Chelsea’s history, winning 5 trophies in his 3 seasons with the club.

Ferguson said, “Mourinho was terrific for football and also for Chelsea and I enjoyed the competition with him. When you play Chelsea, it’s always going to be a big game”.

And so i thought that the picture below is really cute. No offence to Chelsea FC…Peace
